This is not the International version, but the original Chinese version, Part I and Part II, and it is almost 5 hours long. Because I don't understand Chinese, I was able to focus on the expressions on the actors while reading the subtitles. Please choose another server if you cannot watch the movie.
The cinematography is excellent and story well written.
In this sequel to Red Cliff, Chancellor Cao Cao convinces Emperor Xian of the Han to initiate a battle against the two Kingdoms of Shu and Wu, who have become allied forces, against all expectations. Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2016. The Art of War and it is so intricate and impeccably shot- If you blink your eyes you will miss something. I would class this movie as an epic... its 6 hours long, however, it's like watching a high quality TV series... it builds and builds and builds. I wish the film maker hadn't used such cruel methods to get the horses to perform stunts.
I really enjoyed this two part film. The Battle of Red Cliff is a visionary epic based on the legendary battle in which a force of fifty thousand men defeated an army of nearly one million. It was literally butchered into a mostly pointless sad thing.
