Yes, there's much better ramen in the world, but just like how Northampton doesn't have the best pizza or the best chinese or what-the-heck-ever in the world, country, or even the state, this is still *good*. I get it. Plenty of good, quality food presented well for a fair price! I would definitely consider this place. Walking in, it was a cute small space but there was quite a few people so to find a spot for four people was a little bit of a wait. Our server Josh (or Jason, I cant remember) was very friendly and attentive. I will be back! Decent ramen place in town. First time trying their second location. A donburi should not be composed of 1) a pile of white, unseasoned, unfried rice next to 2) a pile of unflavored, stringy, fatty, lukewarm beef. I've eaten in and gotten doordash from here a few times. Also, why am I paying $2 extra for less than 3 cents worth of an egg that's considered a normal part of this dish?Overall, the food had the aesthetics of gas station cuisine, had little to no flavor, and a price far above what other, better restaurants in the area charge for the same dish, except theirs would have been both tasty and nice to look at, and none would have charged you for a gross-looking half of an egg.ALSO: why are they playing very loud Country music... in a J-pop style ramen place... in Northampton? I think it is just too big, especially if there is a small crowd. Chef: keep up the improvement. Started with the octopus ball appetizer (i forget exact name), along with seaweed salad and pork buns. Enjoyed a nice Japanese whiskey after dinner. Especially the seafood Ramen. Just because the "add on" feature on the menu is really cheap. The broth needs a little more flavor. The server apologized but we were disappointed.

The Ramen was so far from what me and friends were expecting. I really hope that the chef can up his/her game and improve the food as I hate to see this close. The broth and noodles are tasty and filling, but the other things (pork belly, ginger, etc) are pretty skimpy. I sat at another seat that was not in the wind path of the door. Felt a bit alienated. 3-months later:  went to the place again and this time my experience was better. I really enjoyed this. Rice is 5 cents a bowl, add some more please. When I first visited Yokohama Ramen it was shortly after they opened and they had a few kinks to work out with regard to portion size and consistency. Overall, the food was tasty, but probably worth more like $8 a bowl, rather than $12 since they're a little stingy with the toppings. The selection is okay but not great. In the end, he watched all of us eat. as you can see in the picture, it came with one single crab stick (which is very far from crab meat), 2 shrimp, 2 tiny fish cakes, and some squid. I've gotten the Ramen once, the Gyudon twice, and the Unagidon once. Food is very good. They let some other big party go first because they had made a reservation 30 minutes ago but when we told them we tried to make one yesterday they just apologized and made us wait. The ramen is mediocre - super bland and too many veggies for a traditional ramen dish. The gyudon was good though. There were enough vegetables in the bowl but very little of traditional vegetables one finds in a high quality ramen bowl.

Also had a sunrise thing that was refreshing but not enough booze in it for my taste but like I said very refreshing, Andres said it would be good on a nice sunny Sunday outside I guess but today is Friday and we were inside.

They told her she could just come in the day of but when we did, we ended up waiting over half an hour. The ramen was a mixed bag. The second bowl was the spicy miso, it was fine, but the meat was definitely sliced way too thin (like thin roast beef) and there were only 3 small square slices. The broth was good, which deserves two stars.

So this place is really cool looking and all, very cozy inside and clean bathrooms which is deserves a star.

This place is miles ahead of Noodles. Especially for lunch. Calories in Ramen Noodles, Oriental Flavor. the interior is refreshing as it's totally different from any place in noho. (Is there really no other music that might be, I don't know, slightly more fitting to either the town or the aesthetic of the space or the cuisine or, maybe, all three?) Ramen was good.

I have no shame but it is weird. The noodles were cooked right but the broth could have used more seasoning.

Over all a great experience and would absolutely recommend :). It's definitely worth a visit. I love being able to order takoyaki or tori karaage in town.
